I know this sounds weird, but guess what we're watching a few times a week now - Chaser's war on everthing from the land Down Under. Its a satirical show with 5 normal Aussie blokes (to all of us non-Aussies that means 5 completely mad geezers) giving a review of the week that's passed. As I've never been to the land of Oz (yet..) I find it quite amazing of how much the politicians are being put through - and what they're putting up with. Not that its a bad thing - I think its pretty good ;-)

Saturday 19 May 2007, 07:55 - Weekend :-)
Morning all! It's been a pretty good week - last sports and games for Claire last Tuesday so there was a surprice in store for them all. First they got picked up by a tractor and were all in the hanger and then they were driven down to the beach where they played, had some bbq'd sausages etc. It was a really good time and very nice down there.
Thursday was Constitution day and Claire was of course wearing her National costume from Voss - doesn't she look nice?. We were down at Mum and Dad's first, got dressed and ready there and then we went down to Sylling.
No big plans for the weekend really - perhaps a bit of fiddling around in the garden...we'll see, the weather hasn't been brilliant lately. Claire's going to a birthday party tomorrow so she's sorted ;-)

Just been in the garden to take a few photoes of how it looks early in the spring. Spring came very early this year - Im so loving it :-)

Done - Im done!!! Geez what a job that was....just tedious and boring and getting on my nerves :P
But at last, its now done - Don get off my back now...at least for the next couple of months ;-)
She woke up so early today - before 6 am!! I managed to hold her in bed for around half an hour but it became quite clear that both Claire and I were wide awake so we got outta bed and left Dave snoring away. He's still in bed but I think he's just around the corner - at least he *said* he was going to get up fairly early today.

Gah - this is fiddly work! But...piccies for 2002 are out there now :-)
Oh - by the way...I'm in one of my Aussie-periods, Dave's to blame of course. We've downloaded Chaser and they're nutters!! And we were hoping to win the Lotto tonite so that we could emigrate to Oz...didn't happen tho..and I had even checked out real estate down there..bummer! Also - right now Im listening to TripleJ..
No. I said NO. There is no way (no bloody way!!!!) Ill eat that vegemite stuff, there is a limit to my Aussieness :P

Saturday 5 May 2007, 23:14 - What a week...
Yeah - 1 May WAS fantastic...and the day after I woke up with a horrible cold and been staying in bed for nearly 3 days!! I've done nothing but sleep, sleep and then a bit of sleeping. Was feeling a bit better yesterday evening so thought today was going to be really good - but woke up at 7 am feeling really bad again so took a couple of paracetamols and then went back to sleep again... Feeling better again now of course and hoping and praying that tomorrow will be ok!
Oh you'll never guess what I've started doing - yaaaaay, Im finally going to sort some of those photos out so that you can see new and old pics at last. Its been long overdue I know, but a certain hubby said he was gonna do it a year ago but nothing happened so Ive started myself...with his blessings of course *grin*.
Look for new items on the left menu in a day or so :-)

Tuesday 1 May 2007, 16:38 - What a day!
Today is a public holiday here in Norway and what excellent timing. Work Monday then Tuesday off, and Tuesday's weather being great...you can't really complain at all. Unfortunately Dave's asthma is playing up so he's spent most of the day inside cleaning and 'screwing around' as he calls it, but Claire and I have been outside most of the day and loving it. Well, perhaps my shoulders arent loving it so much - coz true to form I have yet again forgotten to put sunscreen on and have red shoulders as a result - I'll never learn!
Dave's on sick leave so he's staying home tomorrow as well and I do hope he's going to get better soon, he's on steroids again so he should improve soonish.
We had another barbie today of course, I'm hooked on this gas barbie we bought last summer - and wouldnt you know it, both my parents and my bro has bought one too this year...its catching.

We're alive...
Things are going pretty well up here, Claire's doing very well and starting school this autumn...how time flies!!
Dave's asthma has been really bad these past few months - god I hate asthma :(
Spring came really early this year and the garden looks pretty good considering its still April, should get some more work done later on today - still a bit chilly out there.

Saturday 23 January 2007, 19:15 - Winter is here
Last weekend we got some snow at last - around 15-20 cm so its now really nice and white everywhere. We got some *really* cold weather as well this week, right now its around -12c out there so Im sitting inside now and the fireplace was lit hours ago. Dave's at home so it was veeeery nice to come home to a warm house this afternoon.
Work's pretty good these days, not way too much to do but enough to do most of the time.
Claire's tummy hasn't been the best so shes been home a bit with Dave and loving it I think. She's turning out to be a real Daddy's Girl...and thats just fine ya know ;-)

Saturday 13 January 2007, 09:31 - Weekende at last
Good morning all. So the weekend is upon us at last, don't you just love it. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to work quite a bit tomorrow so I need to make the most out of today - i.e. do absolutely nothing. So far that's actually not working out too well, already tidied up the kitchen etc.
Claire and I are going for a mountain trip with Vector, we're off to a place called Gaustadblikk and both of us are really looking forward to it. Dave's not coming, I have a feeling the house will be invaded by his mates Tommy and Kim for a session of WoW.
I really should start to look at those photos for the web soon - oooooor... Dave can do it! But of course, he's got the next 4 weeks off work so he's going to have plenty of time to sort that out. Must tell him to get his butt in gear on that one ;-)
He's in bed in case you were wondring, usually doesn't get outta bed until after 10 am on Saturdays. Claire actually slept until just after 8 this morning and it was great, and then we got outta bed around half an hour later. Those morning cuddles are soooo nice ;-)

Thursday 11 January 2007, 18:08 - Happy New Year!
AT LAST - we got a few cms of snow today :-)
Ok, we're gonna get some rain again tomorrow afternoon, but for now its nice and white outside. Claire was playing out in the garden for an hour after coming home for daycare. She's now watching telly and having some freshly baked rolls. Her cheeks are so lovely and rosy - a picture of the perfect winter kid.
Not quite sure how Dave's doing coz he went straight to bed after he came home from work and was snoring his head off when the girls came. I'll wake him in 20 mins or so I guess.
Work's still fantastic - had a really really good day today. Fixed a very urgent order for a client and it really gives me a rush to fix things like that. I was running up and down the stairs like a mad one hehe - my poor colleagues must wonder what I'm on at times...
