Claire and Mum have been home for nearly 2 weeks and doing fiiiiine :-). The little one is on her best behaviour most of the time and causing Mum very little trouble. Mum hasn't been online much lately tho - between feeding, changing nappies, sleeping, and caring for the rest of the family as well there isn't always much time for extra things....and it hasn't been very comfortable for Mum to sit on the puter chair lately either with all those stitches. But fear not, everything is going so much better and we'll both be back more regularly. Stay cool!

At last after 12 hours in the hospital a cute little baby girl was brought into the world. She weighed in at 3.1kg and was 48cm in length. Claire was everything we could of hoped for and more. Mum braved thru it fairly well, but would be lost without those drugs - there is no way she'd go thru that again drug-free hehe. Thing is tho - it's all so worth it...when you have a little creature like that on your tummy drawing her first breaths its the best thing in the world. She truly is the best thing Ive ever done :) (enough mush now..)
